NovaGel is a reinforced silicone gel sheeting indicated for use as a scar management dressing on old and new hypertrophic or keloid scars. It is designed to provide scar therapy management that is cost effective, patient compliant and clinically acceptable.

Silicone gel sheeting has been shown to be an effective method for the treatment of hypertrophic and keloid scars.¹ In long- standing scars, improvement in appearance is seen with the use of silicone gel sheeting.² In fresh scars, silicone gel sheeting appears to be effective in reducing hypertrophic scars after full-thickness surgical revisions and scar abrasion.²
